Kristopher Tenk (Kris Munro) and the AICR-crew managed to raise no less than L$222402 (around US$800) throwing the second charity auction in SL this year.
Around 50 dedicated avatars (my count) showed up at the newly build Loch Lomond Ruin in SL Scotland, to stand together against the no. 1 burden to ppl in the industrialized world. Among them Jack Glenelg, owner of AICR in Second Life.
Best bid was set by Tracy Starbrook, who wanted to make sure she got her CT Broek with her home, and hoisted staggering L$25000
The bids were: (gender) ‘Subject’ (Bidder) – ‘prize’
- (m) CT Broek (Tracy Starbrook) – 25000
- (f) Goldie Larson (CHUCK Soderstrom) – 21000
- (f) Sula Laval (CHUCK Soderstrom) – 20000
- (m) Paulza Petrov (Katt Ferrais) – 18000
- (m) CHUCK Soderstrom (Linzi Berjis) – 16000
- (m) Stickboom Pinion (LassDream McMahon) – 16000
- (f) Gabriella Meriman (Ley Wrangler) – 13100
- (f) Linzi Bergis (Ley Wrangler) – 10001
- (f) Vor Torok (Karl Zhong) – 10001
- (f) Endless Miles (CHUCK Soderstrom) – 10000
- (m) Balthier Dagostino (cookiedianne Rhode) – 10000
- (f) Lake Rhode (Stickboom Pinion) – 10000
- (m) Ley Wrangler (Linzi Berjis) – 8800
- (m) Jack Glenelg (Mistral Cale) – 5500
- (f) Mistral Cale (Dexter Tones) – 5500
- (m) Tam Kaminski (Elouise Lane) – 5000
- (f) Mellody Roux (Indiana Bade) – 5000
- (m) Mark Lock (Vor Torok) – 3000
- (m) Kristopher Tenk (?) – 2500
- (m) hilaire Beaumont (Vor Torok) – 2000
- (m) GJ Hennesy (Tracy Starbrook) – 1000
End result of L$217402 – adding the extra 5000 from cookiedianne Rhode who crashed in the middle of a very important bid (hrm, hrm… me!).

(Glorious Sula Laval accompanied by her date and bidder, great supporter CHUCK Soderstrom, who donated the staggering amount of L$51000 to AICR on the auction)
Glad you enjoyed the night Ley, and thanks very much for all your support in helping us promote the auction.
We’ve set a new standard to beat next auction I think =)
Hi Ley,
Thank you very much for your blog posts and coming a long last night. I am very pleased with the amount I raised, but I couldn’t have done it without all the auction candidates and all the bidders. I would like to thank everyone that helped, bid, donated and was up for auction.
Small amendment to the main page entry, it was £229 not £129 for the first auction.
Thanks again for all your help and enjoy your date with linzi
Oups sorry… finger-lag passed midnight *lol*. Thx Kris for noticing. The £129 is now corrected to £229 – sorry.

Hi Ley,
On behalf of everyone here at AICR, I’d like to thank you for promoting our work in this way, and to thank everyone who came along to the auction and raised such a fantastic amount of money. Special thanks to Kris for all his hard work in setting up the auction and to Balthier as well.
Cheers,
Jack.
No thanks at all
