Due to a messy update of the 2ndblog from Wordpress 2.7.x to 2.8.4, the 2ndblog is not running on 100%. We ran into various problems. How and what has happend is unknown at this time – but a complete reinstall was necessary.
That means that not all in the menu (widgetwise) is back on track yet. I’ll try to straigthen it all out a.s.a.p.

As earlier mentioned I have been been awfully lot offline during this passed december. Private matter needed sorting out, and that’s that.
Tonight (passed midnight in Denmark) I came back… Back to SL, and what I thought to be a fast moving world of ’secondary’ relations turn to me right away and greeted me welcome back.
Especially greatful I am for my good friend (even better than I thought possible) Mystra Gide who owns the Island Mystical Kingdom, where my house is located. She kinda sensed, that I needed to take care of something in RL… And kept my house for me. Up until 10 minutes ago I owed her rent for the house… Now I “just” owe my friendship in return.
Think about about it… A woman – whom I never met in RL – across the Atlantic… cares for a virtual vain viking in Denmark… I am amazed!!!
Well… and looking at the photo below, you understand why you’ll always feel welcome by Mystra at the Kingdom

A couple of weeks moving my stuff from one danish city to another in the context of a broken relationship has left the 2ndblog abit quiet.
It’s my ambition to change it back to normal in 2008. And with your help and participation it might be sooner, than I expected three weeks ago.
I have received some mails and other comments – during my worst december ever – that leaves me to believe, there’s still some good in the world – thanks to you all. You are the best
Meanwhile a friend of mine – the genius Lars K. Jensen – found this little gimmick for new years: “how readable is your blog”. How it actually works I don’t know.

Dear Friends
I’m sorry for letting you all AND the blog down lately. Private matters has been in the way, and they will for some time ahead too.
However I promise, I haven’t forgotton about you and I will return for more virtual living as soon as possible.

It may sound weird – especially to my many fellow lindens in Second Life. But it took me almost 10 months to get my own place in the virtual world (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Mystical%20Kingdom/30/121/27).

It’s not difficult, it’s not expensive, it sure isn’t hard to come by… it’s just the blog editor who is soooo dern slow.
I rented a spacy and very attractive beach house with nice ocean view at the small island – Mystical Island (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Mystical%20Kingdom/128/128/29). Though almost all the houses here are rented out to happy lindens it’s a very quiet spot with beautiful surroundings and an ambient audio background of birdsong and insects buzzin’ – L$ 400 a week (€1.09 or US$1.4) – it’s a bargain (hopefully the landlord doesn’t read this).
What I actually need it for I don’t yet know. But first of all it’s nice to have a place to practice building skills and playing with linden scripts. I already managed to get some light out of the lampposts and candles (with help of course).
Now all I need is guests
I almost forgot (how could I) that blogging is about networking – a blog outside the blogosphere is not at blog. It’s just another no-good-for-nothing website.
That’s why I hereby add this link to connect the 2ndblog to my Technorati Profile.
Obvious to the not-so-blind 2ndblog.net has had a gentle facelift. I’ve modelled a new banner, so the blog looks a bit more 2nd’ish.

Well, this is where it starts. My first post at the 2ndblog. The reason for this is my increasing interest in virtual worlds like Linden Labs Second Life (SL).
I have already been writing a few pieces on my danish blog – Blogley – about Second Life. But since most of the people I now know in SL are NOT danish, and since I want to reach out for knowledge beyond the little scandinavian fairytale kingdom of Denmark, I now set out in english on this - my 2ndblog
I sincerely hope to share a lot of both experience and knowledge with you guys – so give it up! Give me all you know
